Seamlessly pair blinds with your current smart home setup

Setting up Matter-enabled blinds is quick and straightforward, especially if you already have a smart home hub in place. In most cases, you can simply connect your blinds to your existing system without needing any additional hardware. Motionblinds solutions are designed to work seamlessly with a wide range of popular platforms, including Apple, Google, Amazon, SmartThings, and Home Assistant. This means you can integrate your blinds into your current setup with minimal effort, allowing you to control them alongside your other smart devices right away.

Choose the right smart home hub (REquired)

Eve Motionblinds rely on matter with thread to be able to easily set up and integrate these into your home network, each motor comes with Matter and Thread built in, allowing them to connect directly to your smart home without needing a Motionblinds bridge. To get started, you’ll need a compatible smart home device that supports both technologies also known as a Thread Border Router.

Choosing the right hub starts with the platform you already use. If you control your home with Siri or the Apple Home app, select a compatible Apple hub. Prefer voice control with Amazon Alexa? Then an Echo device with Thread support is the right choice. The same applies for platforms like Google Home and others simply match your hub to your preferred ecosystem for a seamless experience.

Please note for your Eve Motionblind you must have one of the Thread Border Routers listed below.

adding secondary smart home devices (optional)

While a Matter-over-Thread smart device is required, you can also add your Eve MotionBlinds to additional devices. For example, if one user controls the blinds via an Apple iPhone and another uses an Android device, the system can still support both.

To control your Eve device from an additional platform, you’ll need a hub compatible with that ecosystem. This secondary hub only needs to support Matter (acting as a Matter Controller), as Thread connectivity is already provided by your primary hub. The devices listed below function as Matter Controllers for their respective platforms.
