Q Can I use the webshop configurator to get a quote
for my customer?
The webshop is an excellent tool for pricing our made to measure products. Using it to get a quote, ensures that the complete specification of your required product is taken into account when the price is calculated. Simply configure the product and add to the basket in the normal way, this will generate the price. Don’t worry you’re not charged until you place
Qthe order.
After I have got a price, do I need to remove the item out of my basket and
re-input the configuration again when I am ready to place the order?
We recommend saving your basket as a quote, for conversion to a sale or deletion later. This will save the specification you have entered, so that you don’t need to re-enter all the details again. Once saved as
a quote, you will notice a “Pending Quotations” box at the bottom of the right-hand side of the screen, to help remind you of any outstanding
Qquotations.
If I have more than one product to order, with very similar specifications, is
there a faster way for me to enter my configurations?
Yes - once your first configuration is entered, you will then be asked to either “Add to Basket” or “Add and
Copy”. Selecting “Add and Copy” adds your first item to the basket then copies the configuration for the second item, you are then able the change any details which need to be changed before adding
as the next item to the basket. It’s worth noting that if there are more than two or three details that are different, it may be just as quick to
Qenter a new configuration.
How do I order more than one identical Made to Measure product, made to
exactly the same specification?
This catches a lot of people out! It is as easy as changing the quantity in the basket from 1 to however many
Qyou need.
How do I tell you which dimensions to bend the pole to?
For Made to Measure products which need to be bent, we will ask you to attach a diagram at the checkout. We recommend using
the digital version of the dimensions page from our Made to Measure order form, which can be filled in
on your computer then saved in
your chosen folder. Some customers prefer to print the order form off to take to site and fill in whilst measuring the bay, then take a photo of it and
Qattach the photo to their order.
Will someone check that my measurements are OK before you make the pole?
Yes, all diagrams for bay products ordered through the webshop are
sent through to our MTM Technical Advisors for review before the order goes into manufacture. We have been manufacturing bay products for many years and we are confident in the tolerance’s that we work to, helping to ensure your bay
Qproduct fits perfectly.
Can I change the specification after the order has been submitted?
For us to stick to our fast and reliable lead times, all MTM products are put straight into manufacture as soon as the order is submitted, whether the order is placed through the webshop or sent to our office
to process. Therefore, it is unlikely that we will be able to make any changes once the order has been submitted. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that orders are not submitted until the final specification has been agreed.
I am interested to learn how to use the webshop to its full potential, do you
offer training on the webshop?
Yes, we have recorded several tutorial videos showing you
how to use all the functions of
